Apparently, (according to Alec Guinness), St. Augustine said time comes from the future, passes through the present fleetingly, and disappears into the past. Ask Mr. Senior if he agrees. Perhaps time bubbles up from the past into the future -- aren't we all heading TOWARD Eternity? Perhaps time is, also?? Hm... Do you have an aspirin?
Clearly, the past was present (then), the present is present (now) and the future will be present (then), so perhaps there is only the present -- I've been told all times are present before God... We may need a fifth opinion here.
Wow. I had no idea a picture of something so simple would evoke so much! :) Thank you all for your comments, opinions and viewpoints. It has made for a very interesting line of discussion.

Time to Stop, on that good point.
God bless all in time and in Eternity, Amen!
(again, the picture is really neat, Monnie)
