I took this picture from the car on my way from Manhattan to St. Mary's. It
has been enhanced (the colors are a bit more saturated than the original). The white "clouds" on the horizon against the darker blue/grey/purple clouds are actually steam from Jeffrey Energy Center.

An awesome "drive-by shooting"! It gives such a "feel" for the setting that I'm sure anyone who has experienced driving across Kansas will be drawn into the scene right away!
