Dark Day

Yesterday, up at the school, the sky looked pretty ominous... quite cool. ;)

Wow, Monnie, that is a great shot! It could be representative of the state of the Church these days. Beautiful picture.

i love this one! it has a kind of spooky, sinister look about it.

hey monnie, would that picture look absolutely magical if it would be lighted from within, and can it be done?

It would indeed look spectacular if lit from within, but I really can't think of any way possible for that to be done... not to mention the fact that that was a one-of-a-kind sky/photo opportunity and not easily replicated.

hi monnie,i love what you do. how long have you been intrested in photography? does it just come naturally or did you take some classes? your pics have a depth i've only seen in paintings.do you believe you may have been an artist in a previous life? you're an inspiration my magical friend.

I've been interested in photography for some time, but was only able to get into it more seriously (if what I do can really be called serious - I have so much fun with it :D) a few months ago, when I turned 19.

I haven't taken any classes, so I guess you'd say it comes naturally. I've looked at a couple of photography books, but I largely play off what appeals to my eye.

People don't have previous lives, though they try to excuse themselves with that theory. Any talent I have is God-given and I thank Him for it and try to use any ability I have to give Him greater glory.

Thank you for your interest in my work.
