I don't know about the rest of you, but I find it very inspiring to see someone doing a pilgrimage barefoot. We had one such pilgrim in our chapter for 7 miles!!

Father Dean was talking about the sensitivities of humanity last night during mankind, bearing higher intellect than animals, correspondingly has no inhibiting appendages as animals do...e.g., hooves, claws, horns, fur, etc. I suppose it'd be a rather lengthy explaination en toto, but that pic brings memory of that.
As we are souls of sensitive (as in sensory) intellect, thus our bodies are of more sensitive nature - without protection. It is "liberating" - in the true sense of the word - frees us to enable higher good.

Just interesting. ;)
